Everlast Personal Round Timer

The Everlast Personal Round Timer is an interval timer that can be strapped around your arm and also stand alone, while you’re doing your workouts. It can be a cheap alternative to many of the professional gym timers. With this timer you can adjust workout times and rounds for either two or three minutes, from one to twelve rounds with 30 to 60 seconds rest in between rounds, and set alarms with the ring gong and built in vibration features. This is powered by three-cell batteries and includes a limited one-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

The Everlast Personal Round Timer has the following dimensions: 8 x 5.5 x 2 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces. An ideal feature of the round timer is the authentic boxing gong tone that alerts you instead of the standard high beep of most interval timers. The timer can also vibrate so it still can alert you even if you are listening to loud music.

The timer is very easy to use and set up because it is very straightforward. Aside from that, it doesn’t need a lot of smarts to read the manual instruction.

It is ideal for workouts in the gym, at home or even on the track since it comes with a strap. However, most prefer a clip over a strap, for the reason that there are no perfect sizes for straps. The strap is not intended for very small frames, as the timer falls off, or very huge frames, as the strap will not snap together. The good thing though, the timer could be mounted on equipment frame, so it is ideal for the gym and fitness clubs.

According to other reviews, some users find the timer to be poorly quality because the batteries don’t fit in well and the cover can’t keep the batteries in. For this reason, the timer stops to work. Solutions to this could be not to strap it to yourself when doing strenuous activities, or you could mount it to an equipment to avoid battery misplacement.

For the low price of $11.24 it is inexpensive than most interval timers and it is better than watching clocks or watches during workout.
